LARRY "JIM" MOTTO, 75 of Stephenson, MI passed away on Monday August 25, 2025 at Aurora Medical Center-Bay Area in Marinette, WI. Jim was born on July 23, 1950 in Daggett, MI to Stewart and Arlene (Berger) Motto. On May 21, 1983, Jim married Debbie Christophersen at Precious Blood Catholic Church. Jim owned/operated Motto Cedar Products for many years. He was a hardworking "jack of all trades" who enjoyed working in his yard, woodworking and feeding his hummingbirds. Jim loved golfing, going for side-by-side rides, riding his E bike, RVing and snow birding down south. Above all else, Jim's greatest times were spent with his family and friends. Jim was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church.


Remembered by his loving family include his wife: Debbie Motto; 6 children: Scott (Rachel) Motto, Stefanie (Scott) McClelland, Stacie Motto, Jamie (Dusty) Davis, Daryl Motto and Kelly Motto; 16 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister: Bobbi Jo Majkrzak; 3 brothers: Gar (Jeanne) Motto, Gene (Cindy) Motto and Joe Motto; along with many nieces and nephews.


Jim was preceded in death by his parents: Stewart & Arlene; brother: Garry D. Motto; and brother-in-law: Greg Majkrzak.

Visitation will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home on Saturday August 30, 2025 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 noon with Father Jins Joseph officiating. Burial will follow in Mellen Township Cemetery.
